Naniwa Traditional Fine 2000 Grit Japanese Sharpening Stone, NO Stand, surface de 21 cm x 7 cm, 2 cm d'épaisseur.

Cette pierre fine est un bon choix pour la finition des couteaux allemands, ou pour l'entretien régulier de tout autre couteau allemand ou japonais où vous ne voulez pas nécessairement un tranchant super poli. C'est le plus lisse que beaucoup de gens auront jamais besoin d'utiliser, en particulier pour les couteaux allemands ou tout couteau en acier inoxydable standard.

Ces pierres de la série « Traditionnelle » sont de haute qualité et abordables ! Ils nécessitent un bon trempage (20 minutes suffiront) avant utilisation, mais veuillez ne PAS les stocker dans l'eau. Ils coupent rapidement et ont une sensation agréable... ils ne sont ni pires ni meilleurs que les autres séries, seulement différents... certaines personnes préfèrent la sensation plus traditionnelle, essayez-en une !

Traditional Stones are great !

You have the look and the feel, of those old style stones. It’s a pleasure to sharpen a knife on. Easy to start up, just soak for 20 mins. You can start to set up your area for sharpening as it soaks. Even though we have our main go to stones at home already, I decided to do it right, and get a selection of these. I bought the 220, 1000, 2000, and the Whetstone Holder. I had already purchased the 6000 from Paul’s before. Same great service this time around, just like last time. Very fast ! Surprisingly ! Excellent to deal with. Thank you Paul for providing me with such a high quality stone, and for such an affordable price ! Even though my review is supposed to be on just this particular one, my review is with all these Traditional Stones. They’re all great ! Buy this one, and you’ll love it. Buy a set of them if you can, or buy them over time. The main thing is, treat yourself to buying these quality stones that would last most, a life time. Thank you Paul’s again !

A Beautiful Stone

Excellent stone. Works well on both my stainless knives and my carbon steel chef knives. Leaves an excellent edge fine enough to do almost all tasks without a higher grit stone.

An Excellent Stone

I bought this 2000 together with a 220 and 1000. This 2000 is really an ultra fine edge polishing stone. I finished off my Grohmann DH Russel knife with it and my survival knife from the same company-- both with carbon blades. This grit level is really the max needed on such outdoor knives. Happy with this purchase it complements perfectly the two other stones I bought. Excellent quality.
