I’m finding that I use the small knife attachment almost as much as I use the full sized table. It’s a very useful and well designed tool but I wish that the material was as wear resistant as the EP professional main table material. It seems soft and disposable, but then replacement platforms aren’t that expensive.

This attachment makes sharpening smaller blades like Swiss Army and multitool blades a breeze. I found that you had to really move small blades around on the stock rest resulting in some inconsistencies. The small knife attachment gives a perfect platform for smaller pocket knives as well as some longer blades with a lot of belly.
