Naniwa Super Stone Super-Fine 10,000 Grit Japanese Whetstone Sharpening Stone, 21cm x 7cm surface (8.25"x2.75"), 2cm thick. Made in Japan.
This super-fine stone is used for giving a knife a final polished edge. Recommended for sharpening razors and fine Japanese knives if you like a polished edge.
These are excellent stones, very reliable, forgiving, and not fragile. A GREAT choice for the beginner or casual home user who just wants good long-lasting stones that work great on a variety of knives. I use these SuperStone series at home and they're great.
Please note that this is a full 2cm thick! It has come to our attention that some other stores are selling the much cheaper and thinner 1cm version without specifying the thickness. Don't be fooled!
