Universal adjustable sharpening stone holder. This is a high quality and heavy-duty universal base/stand for sharpening stones. Features stainless steel parts and heavy rubber ends on easy-moving sliding adjustable rails. Fits stones between 136mm and 218mm long, and 76mm wide. This will hold your stone very firmly and the added traction of the rubber feet along with the added weight will help keep everything steady and up off your counter for better control. Made in China.

Warranty: One-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

I discovered Paul’s shop by accident. As an experienced knife (kitchen, EDC & woodworking) sharpener, I was shopping to add to my existing tool kits. Although I had already owned a Naniwa Holder, I bought another to go along with the also purchased Shapton Glass Finishing Stone as recommended by Paul as an alternative to the very expensive Shapton Holder. Paul’s pricing, shipping and OA customer service was excellent! I will definitely purchase from him again.

NANIWA JAPANESE WHETSTONE HOLDER

Best price and fast shipping. Great build quality. I use it with my DMT diamond stone. Provides proper elevation for unrestricted access. Not required if you are using the Shaptons. Their supplied base provides good elevation. Don't know how long the plastic will last though, so this becomes a good long term investment.
