Wusthof Gourmet Super Slicer, 10-inch (26 cm), Wavy Edge - 4519

This is the second Wusthof Super Slicer bread knife for us. We purchased this second one (the 10-inch Wavy Edge, model 4519) after our adult son bought us one for Christmas 2020. We've had various bread knives over the years, and our best blade so far was one of those wood-framed "bow" knifes that limits the depth of cut, but for all homemade "pandemic" bread we've been making, we've been cutting more bread than ever. Well, this Wusthof is a godsend. Who knew that cutting bread could be so satisfying!! This knife is a weapon, almost a sword. It works so well, we bought this second one for the cottage as once you've used it, going back to the old standby was just not an option. Highly recommended and worth every penny.
