We've been a Wusthof dealer since 2004 simply because we love these knives. They're rugged, well made with excellent fit and finish, and they now also have improved, sharper edges. They also have a great Canadian warranty, with convenient service out of Ottawa, Ontario, so in the extremely unlikely event that something does go wrong with your knife a few years down the road, you're not stuck returning it to the US or Europe.

Wusthof Classic is the oldest line, and as such has by far the widest selection of knife styles and sizes available. There's a reason most every knife manufacturer around the world has knives with this rectangular shape handle: it just works. If you look at your fingers/hand as they grip a knife, they form a roughly rectangular shape, and so no matter the size of your hand, this style of handle is almost guaranteed to be a great and comfortable fit. 

Wusthof Classic IKON is now catching up with Classic in terms of popularity and selection. After years of trying various handle styles and materials without ever quite matching the comfort and perfection of the Classic handle, Wusthof finally came up with the new Classic IKON handle style a few years ago and they've been a HUGE hit. The shape and size is just perfect and feels FANTASTIC in hand, and the slightly greater heft by the additional metal in the handle feels perfect. And of course the look is much more modern and contemporary. Some handle styles come and go over the years, but this one is here to stay, that's for sure.
