Ratings and Reviews of Maha PowerEx C9000 WizardOne NiMH/NiCAD AA/AAA WorldWide chargerBack to product details
C PFeb 11, 2018, 21:25I purchased my Maha Powerex MH-C9000 a few years ago from PaulsFinest and I'm very happy with this charger. I researched other brands of chargers before I purchased this one and the others didn't have all the features that I wanted. The 'break-in' feature is one I would not do without. I use it to break-in new batteries and resurrect older ones that aren't performing as well as they should be. I also like that the discharge feature does not charge the batteries when it completes the discharge - some do.
Some online reviewers complain about having to press the buttons so many times to set up a particular charge rate etc, but I find it's not a big deal. You get used to it fairly quickly and you have the option of just holding down the button until you reach the charge rate you want; besides this charger has features that other brands just do not have such as the break-in cycle. I'm planning on getting another one soon as my battery stash is growing and I need to another charger to keep up. Pauls seems to have the best price in Canada so I'll get it from them.
RanjanApr 1, 2017, 12:21Highly rated Ni(MH/Cd) battery charger. Having used many chargers (Including from MAHA-Powerex), this is not just one of the 'stick batteries in and pray' chargers which have flooded the marketplace for decades. Including those bundled in by major battery manufacturers. I may have more things to say over a period of usage, but definitely Paul's-finest has a fantastic price (amazon, ebay, many others) and excellent shipping service. Hopefully, they will be able to maintain their high standards for years to come!!
