Ice-hardened molybdenum alloy high carbon stainless steel yields a very strong and durable blade, yet with easy maintenance. Handles are curved and cut away in strategic spots for a very comfortable grip. Note: the handles are nice and comfortable, but if you have large hands, you might find them a bit small (this is almost always the case with rounded/ergonomic/sculpted handles). If you have larger hands, I'd recommend the traditional handles of the Misono line instead.
