This is a really, really cool device. It's like a box grater and a mandoline (or the best-selling V-Slicer I should say) morphed into a new invention that takes both to a whole new level. You get a very strong and super well-made stainless steel 4-sided box-grater-like unit, but instead of the usual two sides of most box graters, you get four sides fitted with permanently installed sharpened stainless steel blades. This gives you the most of the functions and features of a mandoline AND a box grater, combined to make both devices actually BETTER!
