Peugeot Nicaragua Coffee Grinder

What an awesome old design! Everything about this Peugeot unit oozes quality. The superb black matte wood case is very beautiful and very well made. The mechanism is super well-made, and is basically a really big version of their time-tested pepper grinding mechanism. The grind can be adjusted from fine to coarse via a clever, simple and reliable mechanism at the top of the handle, and the whole thing works smoothly and reliably. Great old-world charm and reliability.

Here's what the manufacturer has to say: Who can resist the aroma of freshly ground coffee? This black matte Peugeot coffee mill has a burr grinder mechanism to grind roasted coffee beans, allowing the freshest flavour to come through. Featuring adjustable grinds from fine to coarse by turning the top crank handle and, like all Peugeot mills, there is a lifetime warranty on the mechanism. The drawer will hold about 2 oz. of beans.

It shouldn't surprise me at this point, yet I'm still amazed by Paul's excellent service. I placed my order late Monday night/early Tuesday morning and it arrived at my door early Thursday morning -- one day before Christmas!
