Chocolate-finished wood base, with polished chrome and acrylic tops. This nutmeg mill is both stylish and it REALLY works amazingly well. With both a blade and a grater, the nutmeg can be very finely grated. A claw holds the nutmeg firmly in place. Comes with some whole nutmegs to get you started. If you've been using pre-ground nutmeg, trust me, there is truly NO comparison, because as with peppercorns, the essential oils are very volatile and pre-ground nutmeg becomes pretty much tasteless by the time you actually use it.
