Mushrooms are just popping up everywhere now it seems! I keep seeing them in magazine articles, in restaurants, in newspaper features, books... So of course you need a mushroom knife for your mushroom hunting! This is THE knife for such a task. The 8cm blade is curved for easily reaching, and the end of the handle is fitted with a natural boar hair mushroom brush for cleaning your harvest (because of course you should never wash a mushroom -- just brush it clean). Also makes a nice all-around garden "harvesting" knife. Super sharp and strong stainless steel blade for easy maintenance and stain-free use. The blade folds into the handle and includes the simple and effective "Virobloc" Opinel-exclusive blade locking device, to lock the blade safely and securely in the open or closed postion. Beechwood handle with a hole in the end so you can thread a lanyard so you don't drop it in the forest or in among your tomatoes. Makes a great gift: Comes packed in a very nice box, in a sort of Euro "retro look" style with natural board and green printing.
