This is a seriously large knife -- if you're the Big Honcho in the kitchen, you know you want to wield the Big Iron, this is your knife. Top-quality blade and construction in a classic shape -- again, like a good old German or French professional knife, only REALLY big. Yes, it's sort of ridiculously big, but being Japanese, and being Misono (so it's really well made, with a handle that matches the blade size nicely to still offer good control), I'd say that yes, it's actually still a pretty useable tool after all and not just a huge showpiece.
