Messermeister Blade Guard, for 8" Chef's knives

Fits just about any brand and style of chef's knife with up to an 8-inch blade (wide blade... not really meant for narrow knives like slicers). Highly recommended for transport in any sort of carrying case, and for any knife which is going to spend any time stored outside of a knife block (in a case, drawer, box, etc.). Popular with professional chefs who transport and store their knives. Cheap protection for your knife edge! Note: these are the same as the Wusthof branded blade guards (the old ones without the felt interior)... they're identical -- made by the same company, just with a different logo.

Note: these are designed to protect a blade edge when a knife is stored in a knife roll/bag or drawer. They will NOT protect a knife or you or your foot against dropping or other forms of misuse.
