The new Maha PowerEx 800S charges any combination of one to eight AA and/or AAA NiCAD and/or NiMH batteries. It's like having eight independent chargers! Features: 8 independent charging circuits; LCD display to display the charging status of each individual battery (english-language text on LCD display replaces traditional led coloured indicator lights); choose between fast or soft charge modes (fast charges AA batteries in about 2 hours, soft mode for best battery life charges in about 4 hours); built-in deep high-rate battery conditioner to deep-discharge and recharge batteries for maximum rejuvenation; microprocessor controlled for perfect charging every time without under or over-charging; fast 2-hour AA charging (one hour for AAA) regardless of number of batteries (will charge 8 at once in 2 hours!); international AC adapter included, for 100-240 volts, 50/60Hz operation anywhere in the world (see MHS-TC400 plug adapter kit). Rapid charge current: 1000 mAh (AA), 700 mAh (AAA). Will also safely charge older and lower capacity NiCAD and NiMH.
3-year limited warranty. This is essentially the same charger as the 801D, except the AA charge speed (in both fast and slow) is half as fast, the adapter is a standard model (not rugged) and doesn't have interchangeable power cord (it's a standard small international adapter, like you'll find on the 401FS charger, and so it's about half the size/weight as the 801D adapter), it doesn't include a free BH8AA holder (but I include one for free for you anyway!), and the colour is grey instead of black. This 800S is GREAT for travel -- the charger and adapter together weigh just 350 grams!
