MCUSTA Zanmai Slicer, 225mm (8.9-inch), VG10, 17-layer Damascus

A classic "French Slicer" (the usual European shape). This is great for slicing larger roasts, meats, poultry, fruit, etc. Some people also like to use this style of knife instead of a chef's knife -- it's pretty useful and versatile and a popular addition to any growing knife collection.

Features a high performance VG10 Cobalt stainless steel cutting edge with a 17-layer damascus steel outer for strength, durability and of course incredible good looks. Pakkawood handle gives the comfort and classic good looks of real wood but since it is stabilized it won't absorb water or risk warping or cracking. The nickel silver bolster adds to the good looks and is angled just right for a comfortable and safe grip.

The edge is expertly finished and very sharp, and it is ground 50/50 so it will be easy to maintain and will be suitable for right or left hand use.

A truly excellent and versatile slicer that would be at home in any home or professional situation.

Comes securely packed in a beautiful black gift box.
