Furi FX 7-inch (17.8cm) Granton-Edge East/West Santoku Knife

An ideal home size of the ever-popular Furi "coppertail" FX series (now branded Rachael Ray) East/West santoku-style knife.

The new top-of-the-line by Füri. Featuring FX-Forged exoskeleton construction for strength, weight, and balance. FX is a system where the blade, bolster and main handle structure are forged as one piece (so the handle IS the tang). A precision-cast handle cap is fused over the the forged handle to complete the grip and retain a hollow core for perfect balance. The "Coppertail" counterweight on the end of the handle looks great and can be filed over the years to maintain the balance of the knive/blade if desired. The metal is also a new high quality German CrMoV allow for superb edge retention and corrosion resistance. In other words, this metal is much harder and so will keep its edge longer. Basically, it's a similar metal to Wusthof and other good European knives. Also features the same innovative ergonomic grip and East/West blade shape as the original Furi Pro series.
