An innovative and practical integrated multi-cutting board system. A different coloured mat is provided for each of the six main food bacterial groups: raw red meat, seafood, poultry, cooked meat, vegetables, and dairy. Mats are made from polyethylene (PE), for maximum hygiene and knife edge protection. Solid (heavy!) PP base holds each mat securely, and provides a firm resilient base for comfortable cutting. Simply cut one type of food on the matching mat, then peel off and funnel the food into a pot, wok or a plate, etc. Throw the mat in the sink for rinsing and washing later. HINTS & TIPS: use one mat at a time, as the design of the board is such that it only works properly when you have one mat on the base (don't stack them as they are in the box); Try to always use the same side of the mat each time: each mat is embossed with the name Furi and the use of the mat; don't put the mats in the dishwasher; You can take up the mat from the board when it's full of your chopped onions or carrots etc., bend it slightly and tip it into a bowl or pan -- very handy!
Paul's notes: The mats are actually quite thick and the base is amazingly heavy and solid -- this is a pretty heavy duty system, and I'm getting more and more great feedback on it from customers, so I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
