I just wanted to tell you that I received my V-slicer and I am very happy with the product. A little history. I received a V-slicer, which if I remember correctly it was called a slicer-dicer, in the year 1975 as a wedding gift. I was my most priced possession. I used it on a regular basis. I must add the blades to this day have never dulled. My first slicer has now been handed down to daughter as she used it as often as I did. I can only hope that my new V-slicer will last half as long. I must admit you are the only one that sells that slicer and I could only go online to find it by it's name on my slicer. I just wanted to say thank you again.

This makes a really great all-around kitchen and baking scale. While I don't normally buy into liquid measuring functions because I think they're goofy (hey, one litre of water weighs one kilo, okay?!), THIS model has a twist on the feature that is REALLY useful: it has a density compensating feature. So when measuring a volume of liquid that does NOT equal a gram per ml (like honey, corn syrup and other thick liquids), you simply push the up/down buttons to compensate for the density (listed in an included little booklet) of the liquid you're measuring, and you'll get an accurate measurement (yes, honey and corn syrup are MUCH more dense, so if you attempt to measure out 500g for example when a recipe calls for 500ml, you'll come up quite short if you don't compensate or resort to using a messy measuring cup).
